Former President John Dramani Mahama has expressed his support for Sulley Muntari who stormed off a pitch on Sunday after he was racially abused by fans during Series A match between Cagliari and Pescara.

Sulley, the 33 year old Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Italian club Pescara left Pescara with ten men in the middle of the final few minutes said he was abused by a child who was sitting right by his parents.

Although he reported the incidence to referee Daniele Minelli; the only first response to his complaint was a pull-out of Yellow Card. This action of the referee coupled with that from the child got Sulley raged-up and walked off.

The former President of Ghana took to His twitter page on the 3rd of May at exactly 2:53pm and twittered : ”I stand with @MuntariOfficial.#dontlookaway”.

Meanwhile others think Muntari was wrong with his actions while others think same as Ex. President John Dramani Mahama.
