I can boldly say, fufu is one of the favorites delicacies among African meals; notwithstanding the hectic method of getting it all set for consumption. Growing up, i have come to learn several methods of preparing fufu which include the recent evolving technologies such as the Fufu- machine; powdered form, blending methods and the archaic-yet common method thus pounding one’s cassava in a mortar with a pestle; both being ancient devices commonly found in an African Woman’s Kitchen.

Mostly prepared on weekends in most African homes due to the hectic means of preparing it, Fufu is consumed with all kinds of soups such as Peanut Soup, Palm-nut Soup, Light-soup and what have you?
