Today’s fashion has taken a plucky trend in Africa. The re-visitation to the origin of African fabrics has not only helped to project the value of African Prints but also promoted diversity in the use of African Print.

I have noticed a drastic reduction in the wearing of our Jeans Trousers, see-through fabrics and the many indecent outfits which many young ladies and gents went in for; years ago. This is because of the fused-in of our (“Ankara /Ntoma” ) African Prints.

You can’t help but to get attracted to the beauty of African Print. The sight of it alone would tell you a story.

Easy to come by, easy to get it made in any style be it pants, skirts, shirts, tie, belt, bikini or jacket.  I  can confidently say nine out of every ten women have got a pant, scarf, jumpsuit, skirt, jacket, wrapper, a bag or a footwear made of African fabric.

Many fashion shows held globally; lately also do so well in projecting the different ways in making outfits from African Fabrics.

About 70%  of the African fabrics have got cultural heritage behind its colorful nature and designs; such as names which are traced to African root  and symbols which support each story.
