Kanye West has faithful fans searching for answers about his newfound born-again Christian beliefs.

After “Jesus Is King” went to No. 1 on the album charts and every song landed on the Hot 100, searches for “Jesus” and “What do Christians believe?” have spiked on Google. The 42-year-old’s gospel-rap album is filled with biblical references, to the extent the American Bible Society promised to hand out 1,000 free copies of the Good News Translation to interested fans.

But requests poured in faster than the group imagined and they’ve already given away 9,000 Bibles across the United States and to fans around the world.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled at this unexpected demand,” Dr. John Farquhar Plake, the director of ministry intelligence at the American Bible Society, said. “We saw an opportunity — but we never could have dreamed that we’d get such an overwhelming response.” He added: “Our hope is that these Bibles will allow Kanye fans to get to know the extraordinary person of Jesus, who inspires not just musicians, but millions of believers around the world.”

Tristan Thompson and Khloé Kardashian will be spending a lot of time together in the coming weeks as they try to celebrate the holidays harmoniously for their child — but that doesn’t mean the pair will be rekindling their romance.

Despite Thompson’s best efforts to romantically reunite with his ex, a source close to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star tells PEOPLE that Kardashian, 35, is not interested and continues to move forward for the sake of their 19-month-old daughter True. “It’s hard not to admire Khloé,” the source says of Thompson, 28, and his mindset. “She decided that she was going to be in a good place with Tristan, because of True and she really is. She refuses to be bitter and dwell on the past.”

“Tristan still tries to date her, but she doesn’t seem interested,” the source continues. “She seems very happy the way things are. She loves just being a mom and focusing on work.”

As of late, Thompson has been putting in a valiant effort to mend his relationship with Kardashian following his cheating scandal in February with longtime family friend Jordyn Woods. Last week, Kardashian showed off a pink balloon arrangement that Thompson had sent her as a gift after the launch of her new pink diamond KKW Fragrance. The balloons spelled out the name of her new scent. “Today was the launch of my pink diamond collection with KKW Fragrance and I got these balloons sent to me from baby True and Tristan and I really appreciate the love and the thoughtfulness,” Kardashian said in the clip. The mother of one then noted how proud she is of her and Thompson’s ability to come together for the sake of their daughter.

“I’m really proud at the co-parenting place that we are in,” Kardashian added.

Kelsey Grammer didn’t mince words when it came to discussing his ex-wife Camille Grammer in a new interview.

“Honestly, I don’t really talk about her very much because so much of her life is spent talking about me and I just think it’s sort of pathetic,” the 64-year-old told Graham Bensinger of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star. Kelsey, 64, went on to recall when he knew that they were headed for a split. He said the 51-year-old reality star demanded a divorce on the same day he laid his mother to rest.

“A month after I had a heart attack, my mother died – 12 years ago now – the day of my mother’s funeral, my third wife basically had an explosion about something,” Kelsey explained. “And she started telling me, ‘I’m out of this, I’m out of here. I want a divorce, blah, blah blah – which, we’d had the same conversation for eight years, and it was tiresome.” “I realized at that moment that I was done with her, that I was not going to end up in this relationship for much longer. And somewhere under a year [later], I was done,” he added.

Wearing multiple hats on one of country music’s biggest nights, Parton traded her hosting duties for a pulpit on Wednesday when the “9 to 5” songstress took center stage at the 2019 CMAs and belted out a trio of faith-based anthems for a medley of her own.

Tapping Christian pop duo for KING & COUNTRY for their collaboration of “God Only Knows,” Parton set the audience up for an unexpected trip to church when she then brought out Zach Williams for the duo’s rendition of “There Was Jesus,” before going solo and summoning a gospel choir for her offering of “Faith,” in which she collaborates with Galantis and Mr. Probz. Fans viewing at home immediately took to Twitter to share in their praise for the Dollywood operator, calling Parton’s showing “the best performance of the night.”

However, while many fans were in awe of the 73-year-old Parton’s ability to set the stage ablaze with just her voice, others were head-over-heels in love with the fact they were able to witness faith-based music from Parton on national TV.

Garth Brooks took home top honors at Wednesday’s CMAs in Nashville in a star-studded award ceremony that included country music’s most famous acts and a stirring tribute to women artists performed by Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire.

With a history-making opening that paid tribute to women in country music, the ladies started the CMAs by singing to Parton’s “Those Memories of You,” before Little Big Town joined Parton on-stage to pay tribute to country music icon Loretta Lynn — who was also in attendance. In 1972, Lynn became the first female to win the Entertainer of the Year award. The dose of girl-power continued with Tanya Tucker also taking the stage to perform “Delta Dawn.” Gretchen Wilson was also on-hand to perform her rowdy “Redneck Woman.” Crystal Gayle, the Highwomen, Sara Evans and more later joined before the group concluded with Martina McBride’s “Independence Day.”

“What a way to kick off country music’s biggest night,” Underwood — who changed into a yellow fringed mini — said after the performances finished. Underwood, 36, also couldn’t help but talk about her co-host, Parton with a joke about the hosts’ dressing room. “For some reason, Dolly’s rack is so much bigger,” the “Cry Pretty” songstress said. “Well Dolly’s rack is so much bigger,” joked Parton.

“You’re ageless and timeless and parts of you are barely legal,” McEntire jokingly added of Parton before noting that tonight the artists are “doing it all for the little girls who are dreaming of ruling the world of country music.” “Or just ruling the world,” said McEntire, 64, who opted for a blue sequined low-cut gown.

“I love a good man… thanks to Brad Paisley for letting us gals doing our thing tonight… we miss you!” said Parton. Blake Shelton, who was accompanied by girlfriend Gwen Stefani, took home the evening’s first award for Single of the Year for his tune “God’s Country.” Meanwhile, Ashley McBride took home the nod for New Artist of the Year.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not join the Queen for Christmas.

They have chosen to spend baby Archie’s first festive season away from Sandringham. The Sussexes could stay at home in Windsor or travel abroad to be with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland. A source said that the couple — parents to six-month-old Archie — “needed to recharge their batteries.” But their decision will do little to heal the rifts that have opened up with the rest of the Royal Family.

    is.jpg

The couple are taking a six-week break after Sunday when Harry, 35, attends a Royal Albert Hall event. It was thought they would spend Thanksgiving in the US with Doria, 63, and return for Christmas at Sandringham. But they informed Her Majesty, 93, they will not be joining her and Prince Philip, 98. A royal source said: “They need some time away to recharge and decide their plans for next year.” Harry has always spent Christmas at the Queen’s Norfolk home, except for 2012 when he was in Afghanistan — and for the past two years he has been joined by Meghan, 38.

Royal biographer Ingrid Seward said: “Christmas at Sandringham can be quite stressful so perhaps they don’t want to go with Archie at such a young age. “Having said that, Sandringham has played host to many many children through the ages and is well set up for them. “I think it’s sad they don’t want to be part of the family gathering, particularly now the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are in their dotage.

“The Queen might be a little hurt but she’s far too gracious to ever let it show or be known.” Meghan and Harry also skipped the royals’ annual holiday in Balmoral this year. Seward added: “It does seem to be nothing to do with Archie and to do with their own personal feelings.”

Ex-US actress Meghan revealed in an ITV interview this year how the “British stiff upper lip” was “damaging” — causing concern among royals. One insider said: “That’s the very essence of this family.” Harry also admitted he and William were on “different paths.”

The 2020 general election is around the corner and as such, political issues are headlining conversations on media platforms.

Some vocal media personalities have also given Ghanaians a piece of their thoughts in relation to ongoing debates.\The NDC announced a controversial list of 51 public officers alleged to be family members of Nana Akufo-Addo and his close associates.

These persons, according to the NDC were appointed into various public offices by virtue of their family ties with the president. Reacting to this during a radio show, Afia Pokua, popularly known as Vim Lady has accused the NDC of being equally guilty of the same political immorality and nepotism.

Taking Ghanaians down memory lane, she pointed out some ‘family and friends’ governance practised by successive governments in the country over the years, key of which occurred under the erstwhile Mahama administration.

According to her, former President John Mahama’s brother, Ibrahim Mahama wielded more power than the vice president at the time. She said, “…go forward after President Mills, President Mahama his brother Ibrahim Mahama was more than a vice president, those days there were meetings where Amissah Arthur wasn’t invited, Ibrahim Mahama was always present …so you are all guilty of family and friends”.
